KnK Japan in Pakistan: Focused Areas of Impact
KnK Japan is dedicated to making significant contributions across regions of Pakistan. Our work spans key districts, providing support and development where it is needed most. The map below highlights the regions where our efforts are concentrated — here is an overview of our initiatives in these areas.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, our organization focuses on holistic community development, emphasizing infrastructure improvement, educational support, and healthcare initiatives.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir: In response to the 2005 earthquake, we provided school buildings in affected areas, ensuring that education continued despite natural calamities.
Flood Response Emergency Program 2022: In Sindh and Balochistan, we provided immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation post-floods, offering essentials and support for rebuilding infrastructure and lives.
Punjab: In Punjab our work spans climate-resilient public infrastructure and emergency response: CD-CRI pilot schools and health units in Lahore, Multan and Muzaffargarh, and the 2025 floods response in Rangpur Union Council, District Muzaffargarh, which brought solar-powered water filtration and sanitation to displaced families.
