KnK Japan's project in Naseerabad Division established Special Coordination Groups (SCGs) as multi-stakeholder forums to safeguard girls' education and well-being. These district-level bodies comprising education officials, social welfare departments, and community leaders enabled coordinated action on sensitive issues like early marriage, child labour, and school dropout.
Through systematic case referral, follow-ups, and legal and psychosocial support, several at-risk girls were protected and retained in school. SCGs also influenced district education planning by integrating girls' protection into school safety measures.
Complementing these efforts, community talk shows and digital awareness campaigns amplified key messages, further promoting institutional accountability and a culture of safety for girls.
